Obituary for Maria Rainha Agostinho
Maria Rainha (Cordeiro) Agostinho, 88, of Ludlow, was called back into God’s care on Tuesday August 22, 2006. Born in Ludlow, she lived there most of her life, and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She was a longtime seamstress and worked for Chicopee Clothing Co. Maria is survived by her loving children; Joe Agostinho and his wife Connie of Chicopee, Linda Joao and her husband Luis, Ace Agostinho and his wife Trinda and Paul Agostinho all of Ludlow and Jimmy Agostinho and his wife Lillian of Miami Fl.; a sister Laura Roxo and her husband Antonio of Ludlow as well as 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Francisco Cordeiro.   Funeral services will be Friday morning at 9 AM from the Ludlow Funeral home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church at 10. Burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5-9 PM.
