Obituary for Maria da Silva
Maria da Silva, 92, of Wilbraham, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brazil, she has lived in the United States for the past 43 years, was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and worked for many years at A1 Laundromat in Indian Orchard. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Sebastiao Goncalves Juliano, who predeceased her; a loving mother to Antonio S. Juliano and Manuel D. Juliano, both of Ludlow, Fernando S. Juliano and Ana Esteves Goncalves, both of Wilbraham and Maria DaCruz of Ludlow; a dear sister to Albina Goncalves DaSilva, Leonor Teixeira and Adelina Goncalves, all of Springfield; a cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 3. Funeral services are on Friday morning at 9am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm .
