Obituary for Marian A. (Prybytt) Garcia
Marian A. (Prybytt) Garcia, 92, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2016. Born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Jacob and Genevieve Prybytt, she was a longtime resident and a 1942 graduate of Ludlow High School. Marian moved to Springfield in 1980 where she was an active member in the Pine Point Senior Center. Marian was the beloved wife of the late Manuel “Chief” Garcia, who predeceased her in 1985; the beloved sister of the late John Prybytt; and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Marian will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 11:00am in Ludlow Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visitation will precede the funeral from 10:00-11:00am and donations may be made in Marian’s memory to The Gremio Lusitano Club 385 Winsor St. Ludlow, Ma. 01056 or the Disabled American Veterans (www.DAV.org)
