Obituary for Marie A. Haney
Marie A. (Warriner) Haney, 74, formerly of Chicopee and Ludlow, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Raymond and Dora (Jarvis) Warriner, she lived in Ludlow for 24 years before moving to Chicopee in 1991. She worked as a jewelry dept. manager for Two Guys Dept. Store and then as a manager of special accts. for Monarch Life Ins. Co. before her retirement. Marie was the beloved wife of  48 years to Charles Haney; the loving mother to Theresa Gozdur and her husband William of Lakeland Fl., Steven Haney and his wife Joan of Ludlow, Mark Haney and his wife Sharon of Chicopee, Kathy Mangini and her husband Mark of Somers Ct.,  Kenneth Haney Sr.,and his wife Kathy of Chicopee, and Laura Haney of Lee Ma,  a dear sister to Eunice Warriner of Springfield and cherished grandmother to 16,  and great-grandmother to 7. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 11 A.M. at Ludlow Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Island Pond Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 4-7 PM, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Survival Center, Main St. Indian Orchard, Ma. 01151
