Obituary for Marilyn (Donaldson) Livermore
Marilyn (Donaldson) Livermore, 99, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Born in Springfield to the late Arba and Gladys (Hale) Donaldson, she was a graduate of Agawam High School and attended the University of Massachusetts. Marilyn had several hobbies including traveling and was a proud and active member of First Church in Ludlow. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Leland B. Livermore in 1981. Marilyn leaves her loving children, Marilee Acheson of Ludlow, William Livermore and his wife Cynthia of Ludlow, Elizabeth Kessler and her husband Paul of Ludlow, Linda Schroeder and her husband Richard of Wilbraham and Robert Livermore and his wife Catherine of Wilbraham; 15 cherished grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sadly Marilyn was predeceased by her son-in-law Douglas Acheson, her grandson Timothy R. Schroeder and her siblings, Richard, Patricia, Rita, Arba and Helen. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held on Monday June 25, 2012. Family and friends are asked to gather at First Church in Ludlow for a 10:00am service, burial will be in Bernardston Center Cemetery at a later date at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be Sunday evening from 4:00-7:00pm from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Marilyn’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Birch Manor Nursing Home for the outstanding care they gave to her during her time there.
