Obituary for Mario Arcobello
Mario D. Arcobello, 100, of Ludlow passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Sunday, May 8, 2022, just 11 days shy of his 101 st birthday. Born and raised in Ludlow, he was the son of the late Igino and Palmira (Riccardi) Arcobello. Mario was a faithful and devoted communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and St. Elizabeth Parish, both in Ludlow and honorably served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Mario was the beloved husband of 74 years to the late Anna (Almeida) Arcobello, who sadly predeceased him in May, 2021. He was also predeceased by his son David Arcobello. He leaves his loving son Daniel Arcobello and his wife Connie of Milford, CT; adored grandfather to David Arcobello and Mark Arcobello and his wife Mollie and his great-grandsons Hunter and Emmett; dear brother to Delores Silveri and Frank Arcobello and uncle to many nieces and nephews, and he leaves many friends throughout the community. Funeral services with Military Honors for Mario were held privately by his family and a memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date for both Mario and Anna. Ludlow Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements and his family has asked that memorial donations in Mario's memory be made to the charity of one's choice.
