Obituary for Mark Anthony Santos
Mark Anthony Santos, 70, of Ludlow, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2025 with his beloved family by his side. Mark was born in Ludlow on June 19, 1955 to Janis M. (Johnston) Santos and the late Anthony “Moosy” Santos and was a lifelong resident and 1973 graduate of Ludlow High School. He went on to further his education graduating from the Auto Mechanic program at STCC and began his lifelong career of serving the Town of Ludlow and surrounding communities as the owner of Santos Auto Repair and Santos Towing. Outside of being a car enthusiast, his many passions included being a former youth hockey coach, going to the beach, especially Misquamicut, and being outside in the yard where he was especially proud of his pristine yard and beautiful flower gardens.
Mark was the beloved husband of 44 years to Alice (Bartolo) Santos; a loving father to Amy Santos, Amanda Santos, Michael Santos, and their significant others, all of Ludlow; a dear brother to Jeffrey Santos and wife Mary, of Ludlow and Kim Santos, of Greensboro, NC; a devoted grandfather to Cylie and Jason Rozkuszka; and also leaves his canine companion Millie; many loving extended family members, and dear friends.
Visiting hours for Mark will be held on Sunday, July 20th from 2:00-4:00pm at Ludlow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21st with visitation beginning at 9:15am concluding with a funeral home service at 10:00am followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark’s memory to The American Heart Association.
