Obituary for Mark Bielinski
Mark Bielinski, 69, of Chicopee MA passed away the evening of August 16th, 2021. Born and raised in Feeding Hills MA, Mark was a lover of nature from a young age and passionate about all things outdoors. A lifelong fisherman, he was at his best with a rod in his hand trolling the lakes and ocean for the ultimate catch. He loved the beach, and had been going to Dunes Beach in Weekapaug RI since he was a boy, later taking his own young family there for regular day trips.
Mark retired from the Agawam Department of Public Works in 2006 after a 36 year career there.
He leaves behind a void almost as big as his heart, and he will be missed dearly by his longtime love Sylvia Collins of Chicopee MA and his children Todd and Tricia Bielinski of Phoenix AZ and Lincoln RI, respectively. He also leaves his sister Karen Broshears and his "second daughter" Jeanne Hebert. Lastly, he will be missed by his "Winnipesaukee Crew" as he had been taking annual fishing trips there since 1979.
In lieu of any services, the family and friends will be spreading his ashes at the breachway at Dunes Beach in a celebration of life ceremony in summer of 2022.
May he rest easy, fishing the big lake in the sky.
