Obituary for Mark E. Evans
Mark E. Evans, 59, of Ludlow, passed away suddenly on February 5, 2014. Born in Glenellyn, IL, son of the late George and Dorothy (Larkin) Evans, he lived most of his life in Illinois before moving to Ludlow in 1999. Mark worked at Midas for over 32 years and currently at Six Flags alongside his son, which he looked forward to everyday. He was a devoted hockey parent who never missed a game and his greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Mark was the beloved husband of 35 years to Denise (Shepley) Evans, whom he adored; a proud father of Douglas Evans and wife Courtnie, of Agawam, Mark Evans Jr., of Ludlow, and Jennifer Marchese, of Ludlow; an adoring grandfather to Ariana and Gia Marchese, Jaiden and Max Evans, and Brianna Stevenson; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Visiting hours for Mark will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9th from 4:00-7:00pm at Ludlow Funeral Home concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00pm.
