Obituary for Marlene Dec
Marlene S. Dec, 62, passed away suddenly at her home on April 25, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1963, to the late Adolph and Rita (Blanchard) Dec. Marlene was a receptionist for City Tire Co. for many years and was loved by many friends, she will be greatly missed. She was an avid lover of music, and animals. Marlene is survived by her partner Kevin Brothers as well as her sisters Dolores Scalzo of CA.and Christine Peabody of Ludlow, she also leaves many nieces and nephews. Sadly, Marlene was predeceased by her siblings, Luise McQuaid, Carolyn Redfern, Dorita Dec, Peter, Paul and David Dec. Marlene’s arrangements were entrusted to Ludlow Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life service will be held by her family at a later date.
