Obituary for Mary Stolar
Mary Stolar, 81, of Ludlow, died Friday, December 14, 2007. Born in Belchertown, the daughter of the late Alexander and Anna Stolar, she graduated from Belchertown High School in 1944 and moved to Ludlow in 1952. She retired from the Ludlow Junior High School office after many years of dedicated service. Mary leaves her brother Paul, and his wife Eleanor of Longmeadow, a brother Michael of Springfield, a sister-in-law Celia Stolar of Chicopee Falls, with whom she shared many family memories, and her caring nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister and five brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 9AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Divine Liturgy in St. Peter & St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Three Rivers. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 5-8 PM, with a Panakhyda Service starting at 5 PM. Mary has requested that her family, friends and neighbors remember her in their private prayers, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made for masses, or to the charity of one’s choice.     Â
