Obituary for Maxine (Fisher) Farris
Maxine E. (Fisher) Farris, 74, of Springfield passed away peacefully on March 3, 2008. Born in Charlotte Maine, she lived in Springfield for over 50 years, and had previously worked as an accountant for Mass Mutual Company. Â She leaves her devoted husband of 54 years Burton L. Farris Jr., 4 children; Robert Farris of Warren, Kenneth and Cynthia Farris and Laura Dean, all of Springfield, as well as 7 grandchildren. Services will be Monday afternoon at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 1 PM. There are no visiting hours, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in her memory, to Shriners Hospital.
