Obituary for Melissa L. Nevue
Melissa Nevue, 26, of Ludlow was called safely home to be with God on Wednesday January 7th, 2009. Born in Springfield to Charles and Carol (Pouliot) Nevue, she was a lifelong Ludlow resident and communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Besides her parents, Melissa leaves her older sisters Mishel Mitus and her husband Robert of East Longmeadow and Marie Nevue and her fiancé Derrick Patruno of Thorndike; cherished nephews Dillon and David Allen, her niece Autumn Patruno; many aunts, uncles and cousins; her boyfriend James Ilnicky of Leverett; her close friends Krystyn Cubin, Joanne Whitney and her beloved dog, Jasmine. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 13th, 2009 from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial beginning at 12:00pm in St. Mary of the Assumption Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery, Ludlow. Visiting hours for Melissa will be Tuesday morning only from 9:00-11:00am and in lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Boston Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave. Boston, MA. 02115.Â
