Obituary for Michael J. Rodrigues
Michael J. Rodrigues, 52, of Ludlow, passed away at Baystate Medical Center on July 28, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Springfield on March 23, 1967 to Stephanie (Sternala) Rodrigues and the late Victor “Pete” Rodrigues who passed away in 2003. Mike was a carpenter by trade and could sink a framing nail with one blow of his hammer. He will be remembered by all who knew him for being the kind man that he was. Michael leaves his beloved wife Jane (Drown) Rodrigues; his loving sons Joshua (Elizabeth) and Jonathan (Lauren), all of Ludlow, and their mother Debra Rodrigues; his brother Joe (Mick) Rodrigues, of Ludlow; his cherished grandchildren Damian and Victor; his beloved Tia Clara; mother-in-law Sally Drown and late husband Roderick; brothers-in-law Raymond (Ann) and Robert (Carol) Drown; numerous cousins and friends; and was predeceased by his grandparents Manuel and Emilia Rodrigues. Visiting hours for Mike will be held on Thursday, August 1st from 5:00-8:00 in Ludlow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 2nd with visitation from 9:15-10:00am concluding with a funeral home chapel service at 10:00am followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
