Obituary for Mildred J. (Bigos) Morrissette
Mildred J. (Bigos) Morrissette, 91, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2011, with her loving family by her side. Born in Chicopee, daughter of the late Joseph and Maryana (Turek) Bigos, she has lived in Ludlow for 62 years where she was a former communicant of St. John the Baptist Church. Mildred was the beloved wife of the late David Morrissette, who predecaesed her in 1972; a loving mother to David Raymond Morrissette, of S. Carolina, Dorothy Maskill and her husband Frederick, of Ludlow, and the late Jeannette Goodreau, who predeceased her in 1983; a cherished grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 20; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services for Mildred will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 with chapel services at 11:00am in Ludlow Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee. Visitation will precede the chapel service from 9:30 to 10:45am.
