Obituary for Mutilene "Lene" (Machado) Pedro
Mutilene (Machado) Pedro, 84, of Indian Orchard, passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by loved ones on February 13, 2024. Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Jose Machado and Joaquina Coelho and immigrated to Indian Orchard, MA in 1973. Mutilene was the beloved wife of the late José “Zé” Pedro with whom she shared 58 years of marriage; and loved by her two children, Luis Pedro, and Diane Harvey along with her husband, Jayson. “Lene” loved family and she cherished everyone gathered around the kitchen table to share amazing food prepared from her heart, because a recipe book was never needed. She also leaves her loving siblings Sabina, Gloria, Victor, Olimpia, and Anibal; as well as hergrandchildren Austin, Avery, Aidan, and Kiersten; and many loving extended family members and dear friends. Visiting hours for Mutilene will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 9:30-10:15am at Ludlow Funeral Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Burial and gathering will be private.
