Obituary for Nancy J. (Armitage) Fuller
Nancy J. (Armitage) Fuller, 89, of Ludlow, formerly of Brewster, Ma, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Springfield on September 6, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marjorie Armitage. Nancy was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Ludlow for many years before moving to Brewster where she and her husband were active members of the Dennis Union Church. Nancy was an administrative assistant for several years before becoming a mother and devoting herself to raising her children. The joy of Nancy’s life was being with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, four legged granddogs, and her beloved dog Zoey.
Nancy was the beloved wife of 64 years to the late Henry J. Fuller who passed away on December 23, 2018; a loving mother to Debbie McDaniel and husband Rick, of Palmer, Doug Fuller and wife Denise, of Ludlow, and Donna Roberts, of Ludlow; a devoted grandmother to Matthew, Kaitlin, Josh, Emily, Brian, and Sarah; an adoring great-grandmother to Liam, Noel, Kora, Claire, Feyona, Keyana, Addison, Isabella, and Charlotte; a dear sister to the late Donald and David Armitage; and also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Visiting hours for Nancy are on Monday, August 15th from 4:00-7:00pm in Ludlow Funeral Home. Funeral services are on Tuesday, August 16th family and friends are asked to gather directly in First Church of Ludlow for an 11:00am service followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dakin Humane Society (dakinhumane.org) or St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org)
