Obituary for Nora (Krzynowek) Poirier
Nora (Krzynowek) Poirier, 92, of Agawam and formerly of West Warren and Ludlow, passed away peacefully on January 30th, 2010. An accomplished hairdresser, she owned Nora’s Beauty Shoppe in West Warren for many years. Nora was a faithful communicant of Christ the King Church in Ludlow and belonged to the Ludlow Senior Center. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Isadore (Perry) Poirier in 1982. She leaves her loving brother and sister-in-law Rudolph and Mary Ann Shynovek of West Warren; cherished nieces MaryBeth Gosende and her husband Robert of Albany, NY , Dianne Moran and her husband Charles of Chelmsford, MA, Marilyn Shynovek of Hollis, NH, Jean Haznar and her husband Alan of Appleton,WI , Nora Aldrich and her husband Edward of Pollack Pines, CA, as well as her extended “Family” at Heritage Hall in Agawam, where she was a resident for the last 14 years. A Memorial Mass will be held for Nora on February 3rd, 2010 at 10:00am in Christ the King Church in Ludlow. Burial will be this spring in New St. Williams Cemetery in Ware. There will be an announcement of the internment ceremony.
