Obituary for Olimpio Lopes
Olimpio Lopes, 64, of Ludlow passed away on June 4, 2013. Born in Sobral da Logoa, Portugal, he has lived in Ludlow for many years and was a proud member of the Unity Athletic Club. He leaves his companion Tina Pellegrini; cherished daughter Stefiny Knight; caring brothers and sisters, Dinora Rodrigues and husband Alberico, Victor Lopes and wife Rosalie, Josue Lopes, Darlene Kennedy and husband John, Doreen Lopes and Thomas Lopes as well as many devoted nieces, nephews cousins and friends throughout the community. Funeral services for Olimpio will be held on Monday June 10, 2013 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Monday morning only from 8:00am-10:00am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church at 11:00am with burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
