Olivia Cadence Hilario, of East Longmeadow, passed away peacefully April 13th 2025, in the arms of her loving Father, Matthew Hilario, in their home in the early morning. She was the beloved daughter of Shanon Hilario and Matthew Hilario. She is survived by her devoted and loving family Matthew Hilario, Shanon Hilario, and Little Matthew E. Hilario. Olivia was a lover of all things Bluey, Laurie Berkner, and snuggles. As an affectionate and light-bringing soul she captivated the love and wonder of all who knew and met her. To know her was to know true joy. Her smile and laughter were as contagious as it came and she knew it! Her eyes pure windows into her soul and personality; she was expressive and full of sass and mischief. Tenacious and adamant, she knew what she wanted and would not let up until it was hers. She was a hard worker: persevering through all life’s obstacles, many more than most, all with a smile on her face. An inspiration to say the least. An angel who was able to walk amongst us if only for a brief moment in time; a miraculous presence of unconditional and irrevocable light, love, and innocence. A blessing that will be profoundly missed forevermore. It should not go without mention that her parents, Shanon and Matthew, were her greatest advocates. Devoted is a word that only scratches the surface of the love and sacrifice they made for her. As hardworking as she was, it is no wonder where that drive came from. From the day she was born, her Mother dedicated her life to guaranteeing the best for her daughter in every single way. No stone was left unturned and no challenge too great to overcome. Attentive and intune in a way truly unique to Mothers, a testament to their undying bond. Forever her princess of all the little ribbons and bows. Her Father was her champion and safe harbor. His arms were the place she felt she could rest the safest in, the most at ease. He knew just how to make her laugh, as only Fathers do. Steadfast and supportive, he was her pillar of strength during challenging times, her protector, her biggest fan. He was her father in all sense of the word and she, his little girl. Olivia will forever be in the hearts of all that knew her, especially her parents and brother. There is nothing in life worse than a tragedy such as this. Olivia blessed the world with her light and joy for five glorious years before being called back to the Heavens. She has her running legs now and her sassy voice. She’s dancing carefree to her favorite songs and continues to command whatever rooms she’s in. The full force of her spirit has been released, and no doubt will be waiting with her grandparents for when her whole family can be together again. Visiting hours for Olivia are Tuesday evening April 22nd, from 4:00-5:30pm only at the Ludlow Funeral Home. a Liturgy of Christian Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday the 23rd at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church in Ludlow and family and friends are asked to gather directly at the church for her Liturgy.
