Obituary for Pasquale "Pat" Buoniconti Jr.
Pasquale "Pat" Buoniconti, Jr., 58, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield, son of the late Pasquale and Anna (Foisy) Buoniconti, he moved to Ludlow in 1978 where he was a communicant of St. John the Baptist within the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth. Pat was a truck driver and member of the Trucking Union for over 32 years, most recently for ABF Freight Co, Enfield, also belonging to their Teamsters 404. Pat enjoyed woodworking and carpentry and proudly built his family home. He also loved watching old Western movies, loved listening to Elvis, wrestling, accompanying his friends to the casino, was an NY Yankees fan, but his greatest joy in life was spending time on the couch with his grandson Landon. Pat was the beloved husband of 38 years to Kathy (Tatro) Buoniconti; a loving father to April DiSanti and her supportive and devoted husband Christopher DiSanti, of Ludlow; and Megan Buoniconti and her longtime loving and supportive boyfriend Filipe Carreira, and their dogs Mazi and Tyson, of Ludlow; a cherished Papa to Landon DiSanti; a dear brother to Gary Buoniconti, of PA, Gail Gariepy, of FL, and the late Joey Buoniconti and Diane Wymes; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends including Kathy DiSanti and her family. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 8am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Elizabeth Parish followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 3-6pm
