Obituary for Patricia A. (Anderson) Fontaine
Patricia A. (Anderson) Fontaine, 77, of Ludlow, died peacefully on July 25, 2016 with her beloved family by her side. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Bean) Anderson, she grew up in Monson where she was a graduate of Monson H.S. Pat lived most of her life in Palmer where she devoted her life to raising her family and in her later years, she worked in the medical billing dept. for various area doctor’s offices. Pat was faithful and active communicant of both St. Thomas The Apostle Parish in Palmer and St. Elizabeth Parish in Ludlow, and in her spare time she enjoyed playing church bingo and reading. Pat was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Fontaine, who predeceased her in 2002; a loving mother to Bruce Fontaine and wife Lori, of Ludlow, Brian Fontaine, of Worcester, and the late Norman Fontaine, who sadly predeceased her this year; a dear sister to Paul Anderson, of NY, and the late Edward “Sonny” Anderson; a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren and their families: Nicole, Jessica, Shawn, Kaylee, Jeffery, Joshua, Keith, Kyle, and Alex; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Visiting hours for Pat are on Sunday July 31st from 5:00-7:00pm in Ludlow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 1st. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at 10:00am in St. Elizabeth Parish for a funeral Liturgy followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery in Palmer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123 (cancer.org).
