Obituary for Patricia "Patti" Schutte
Patricia “Patti“ M. (Militello) Schutte, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2011 with her loving family by her side. Born in Dunkirk, NY, daughter of the late Russell and Sarah (Russo) Militello, she was a graduate of Cardinal Mindszenty High School and came to the Chicopee area in 1986. Patti had a passion for antiques and was the owner of Patti‘s Antiques in Indian Orchard for over 25 years. She also loved to sing and operated a karaoke business for many years at various local clubs and establishments. Patti was the beloved wife of 13 years to Dale Schutte; a loving mother to Kim Collins and her husband Michael, of Ludlow, and Michael and Christopher Graham; a dear sister to Charles Militello, of Turkey; a cherished nana to Joseph and Sarina Graham, whom she raised, Maggie and Aidan Collins, and Ashley Lycette; and also leaves many loving family members and dear friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, September 23 at 11:00am in Ludlow Funeral Home followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visitation will precede the funeral from 9:30-10:45am.
