Obituary for Patricia (Shea) Velozo
Patricia (Shea) Velozo,  56, of Ludlow, Massachusetts, died  Sunday  July 28 , 2013. Patty worked at University of Massachusetts for years,  where she worked in food service.
Patty was  a freelance photographer. She enjoyed taking photos of the Ludlow V.F.W. events and weddings. She also loved gardening and photographing nature. Patty enjoyed the sport of Nascar,  watching Steelers football and the Boston Celtics. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary for a number of years.
She leaves her son Timothy Velozo and his wife Alyshia (Duff) Velozo of Springfield; her father William Shea of Ludlow; her sister Helen (Shea) Wagner of Virginia; 2 nieces Ashley  and Sarah Wagner, a nephew William Wagner; and many loving and caring Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 beginning at 10:00am at Ludlow Funeral Home followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 5-8pm and preceding the service on Thursday from 9:15-9:45.

In lieu of fresh cut flowers, the family has requested outdoor garden plants be sent for a memorial garden to be constructed in her honor, or donations may be made in Patricia's memory to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
