Obituary for Pedro M. Ganhao
Pedro Ganhao, 79, of Ludlow passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Friday February 29th, 2008. Born in Vau Obidos, Portugal he has lived in Ludlow for many years. Pedro was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and worked at the former Jahn Foundry before retiring in 1994. He leaves his beloved wife of 52 years Maria dos Anjos (Noivo) Ganhao of Ludlow; loving children, Helder Ganhao and his wife Judy of Ludlow, Mabilia Attanasio and her husband Philip of Suffield, Ct. and Paula Krach and her husband Ed of Manchester, Ct; cherished grandchildren Gabriella and Philip Attanasio, both of Suffield; caring brothers Valariano Ganhao, Jose Ganhao, Joaquim Ganhao, Ismael Ganhao and his sisters Olivia Santos, Maria Francisco, Manuela Faria and Iderlinda Maria. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Morning March 4th, 2008 at 9:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday evening from 4-7pm and donations may be made in Pedro’s memory to Mercy Hospice 1236 Main St. Suite 202, Holyoke, MA. 01040.Â
