Obituary for Peter "Pierre" Dorval
Peter M. “Pierre” Dorval, 60, of Ludlow, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2016. Born in Springfield, beloved son of the late George and Sheila (Triggs) Dorval, he was 1974 graduate of Ludlow High School and worked for many years at Monsanto/Solutia. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting with his friends in Middlefield, fishing at Quabbin, and boating on Lake Lorraine. Peter was the loving father of Jocelyn Miller and husband James, of Framingham; Jacob Dorval and wife Justine, of Ellington, CT, and Michael Dorval and wife Nadia, of East Longmeadow; cherished grandfather of Jamieson, Kylah, Bellamy, Brooklyn, and Quinn; a dear brother of Mark Dorval and wife Geri, Julie Dorval, Joseph Dorval, John Dorval, James Dorval and wife Lynn-Ann, Matthew Dorval and wife Laurie, and the late Paul Dorval and his widow Mary; and also leaves his former wife Gail (Bouyea) Dorval and her mother Sylvia Bouyea (late husband Robert), many extended family members, and dear friends including Karen Dorval. Funeral services for Peter will be held on Tuesday, May 17th at Ludlow Funeral Home with Visiting Hours from 5:00-7:30pm concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter’s memory to the Charity of One’s Choice.
