Obituary for Phillip A. Marois
Phillip A. Marois, 70, of Ludlow, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Born in Holyoke, son of the late Raymond and Aline (Coderre) Marois, he lived in Ludlow for many years and was a United States Air Force Veteran proudly serving his country during Vietnam. Phil was Co-owner of Industrial Air Compressor and later worked at Marois Construction. Phil loved his NY Giants and was a wealth of all types of information. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sheila (Conti) Marois, a daughter, Dina Cauley and her husband Ed, a granddaughter and “best buddy” Isabella, as well as 3 brothers Ray, Joe and Bernie Marois, and a sister, Lynette Marois. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27th at 10:15am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Elizabeth Parish. Burial will be at 3:00pm in Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. Visitation will precede the funeral from 8:30-10:15am and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phil’s memory to The Wounded Warrior Project at WoundedWarriorProject.org
