Obituary for Phyllis (Fowler) Bernard
Phyllis (Fowler) Bernard, 89, of Ludlow, was called safely home on November 6, 2007. Born in Springfield, to Louis and Rose Fowler, she was raised in Longmeadow before moving to Ludlow. Phyllis was predeceased by her loving  husband David L. Bernard in 1979. She leaves her three sons, David and his wife Pat of New Jersey, Jim and his wife Peggy of Ludlow, Richard of PA, her two daughters Betty Ann Loud and her husband Charlie of Ludlow and BJ Ferrero and her husband Tony of Ludlow. Her three grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter as well as several loving nieces, nephews and friends.   At the request of the family all funeral services are private, with the arrangements entrusted to the Ludlow Funeral Home. A memorial mass for Phyllis will be held at a later date in St. Mary of the Assumption Church.   For those wishing to make a donation in Phyllis’ memory they may do so to the charity of ones choice. Â
