Obituary for Phyllis J. (Connor) Reis
Phyllis J. (Connor) Reis, 89, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2019. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late William and Lucy (Dominick) Connor, she was a longtime resident of Ludlow and worked for many years at the Ludlow Council on Aging. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. Phyllis was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert Reis, who predeceased her in 1984; a loving mother to Leo Stetson and fiancee Marylou, and Kevin Stetson, all of Ludlow; a dear sister to the late William J. Connor, Cynthia Champagne, and Evelyn Roberge; and also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Visiting hours for Phyllis will be on Saturday, August 31st from 9:15-10:30am in Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Elizabeth Parish followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis’s memory to Life Care Center of Wilbraham Activity Fund 2399 Boston Rd. Wilbraham, Ma. 01095 or Friends of the Ludlow Senior Center 37 Chestnut St. Ludlow, Ma. 01056.
