Obituary for Priscilla (Silva) Silva
Priscilla (Silva) Silva, 73, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 13, 2007. Born in Ludlow, she was a lifelong resident, a 1951 graduate of Ludlow High School, a faithful communicant of Christ the King Church and a member of Daughters of Isabella since 1952. Priscilla was also a proud member of the Portuguese American Citizens Club, VFW Women’s Auxiliary and Gremio Lusitano Club. She was a town meeting member, a former election poll worker and was a member of Mass Citizens Right to Life since its inception. Priscilla was the beloved wife of 51 years to Frank “Chico” Silva; a loving mother of David Silva and his wife Beth Kantz of Brookline, Ma. and Debbie Silva of Ludlow; a dear sister to Ana Amaral and her husband Gil of Ludlow, and the late Joseph, Justiniano “Nick”, Mario, Americo, Thomas, Julia Silva, Sara Batista and Mary Vaz; a cherished grandmother to Andy, Kassie, Priscilla Jane, Nicholas, Zachary, Nathan, Benjamin, Rebecca, and Sarah and great grandmother of Eva Marie. She also leaves several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services are on Wednesday at 11am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12pm in Christ the King Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Tuesday evening from 4-8pm and donations may be made in Priscilla’s memory to Mass Citizens for Life, Ludlow Chapter, Center St. Ludlow, MA. 01056, Eternal World Television Network, 5817 Old Leeds Rd., Irondale, Al. 35210 or the Christ the King Chapel Fund 41 Warsaw Ave, Ludlow.
