Obituary for Rachel (Vaillancourt) Boulanger
Rachel (Vaillancourt) Boulanger, 87, of Ludlow, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 21, 2009.  Born in Nashua, New Hampshire to the late Charles and Beatrice Vaillancourt, she spent most of her life in Nashua and Largo,Fl. before recently moving to Ludlow.  Rachel was a faithful communicant of Christ the King Church and belonged to the Ludlow Golden Agers.  She was an avid knitter and cherished the time spent with her friends at the Ludlow Senior Center.  Rachel was the beloved wife of the late George Boulanger who predeceased her in 2004.  She leaves her loving children William Boulanger and his wife Lizbeth of Ludlow, Leonard Boulanger and his wife Judith of Bethlehem, NH. and Vivian Dudley and her husband Ronald of Clearwater, FL; caring sister of Yvette Caron, and Maurice Vaillancourt of Nashua; grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 10;  Rachel was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters as well as her great-grandson Kacy Muzzey Pavlik.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2009 from the Ludlow Funeral Home.  Visiting hours will be Tuesday morning only from 10:00am-11:15am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:00pm in Christ the King Church, burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Donations may be made in Rachel’s memory to the Friend of the Ludlow Senior Center 37 Chestnut St. Ludlow, MA. 01056.
