Obituary for Ramiro M. Nazare
Ramiro M. Nazare, 71, of Indian Orchard, passed away peacefully at home on July 29, 2011 with his loving family by his side. Born in Sintra, Portugal, son of the late Manuel and Maria (Augusta) Nazare, he came to the United States in 1974 and worked for many years for S&S Construction. Ramiro was the beloved husband of 49 years to Ana (Costa) Nazare; a loving father to Anna-Paula Figueiredo and her husband Eduardo, of Chicopee; a cherished grandfather to Bruce; a dear brother to Fernanda Rodrigues, Odete Cunha, and Idalina Costa, all of Portugal; and also leaves many loving extended family members and friends here and in Portugal.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 2nd at 9am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Monday evening from 4-7pm.
