Obituary for Raymond H. Hoarle
Raymond Hoarle, 76, of Ludlow was called safely home on Sunday, December 13th, 2009.  Born in Springfield, to the late Raymond and Gladys (Chabot) Hoarle, he was a long time Ludlow resident, member of the Ludlow Lions Club and faithful communicant and member of the Men’s Guild of Christ the King Church. He retired from Monsanto Chemical Co. in Springfield after many years and enjoyed bowling and golfing in his retirement. Raymond proudly served his country as an Airman in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was the beloved husband of 41 years to the late Dolores Morais who passed away in 1995; he leaves his loving daughter Donna Smith of Houston, TX; a brother Donald Hoarle of Chicago and his special friend Doris Crowther with whom he resided in Ludlow. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17th, 2009 at 9:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00am in Christ the King Church followed by burial with Military Honors in Island Pond Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 4:00-7:00pm and in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Raymond’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association
