Obituary for Raymond M. Daigneault
Raymond M. Daigneault, 64, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicopee to the late Alexander and Jeanne (Dufault) Daigneault, he graduated from Precious Blood High School in Holyoke and UMASS Stockbridge. Ray started his career at Stop & Shop at the age of 16 and worked his way up to become vice-president of sales for the CT division until he retired in 2003. He also enjoyed gardening, traveling and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees; but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family; especially his 2 granddaughters. Ray was the beloved husband of 41 years to Elaine (Morell) Daigneault; a loving father to Lori A. Haryasz and her husband Robert, of Ludlow; and cherished grandfather to Emily J. Haryasz and Ashley M. Haryasz. He also leaves his dear sister, Lorraine Daigneault, of Ludlow; his mother-in-law Rita Morell, of Ludlow and many other loving family members and friends. There are no calling hours and funeral services will be held privately by the family.Â
