Obituary for Richard Langlais
Richard Langlais, 66, of Ludlow passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 28, 2018. Born in Springfield he was a lifelong Ludlow resident. Rick worked and retired from the United States Postal Service, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed cooking and short wave radio, where he communicated with transcontinental pilots and their flights. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. He was a devoted caretaker to his mother Jeannine and his late father Robert, besides his mother he leaves his caring brother David Langlais and his wife Mary Ann of Monson, his sisters Denise Golinski and her late husband, Carl of Ludlow and Lynn Anderson and her husband Bruce of Jay, NY, also leaving his nieces, nephews and extended family. A chapel service for Richard will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Ludlow Funeral Home with Monsignor Homer Gosselin presiding, visitation will precede the service from 1:15pm-2:00pm
