Obituary for Robert "Bob" Miccoly, Jr.
Robert "Bob" Miccoly, Sr., of Ludlow and Palmetto, Florida, passed away on July 4, 2016, the eve of his 76th birthday, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Ludlow on July 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Peter and Lillian Miccoly. Bob established his career in the Fire Prevention industry where he was a retired member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 676. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and was also a proud member of the Masons, Elks Moose Lodge, American Legion, and most recognizably of the Melha Shriners, as "The Smile Inspector". Bob was predeceased by his beloved first wife of 50 years, Jeraldine (Smus) Miccoly in 2010. He leaves his loving wife Constance Potter-Miccoly and her family; his 3 children, 7 grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends. At Bob's request, funeral services were held privately and entrusted to Ludlow Funeral Home. Donations may be made in Bob's memory to Shriner's Melha Temple 133 Longhill St. Springfield, Ma. 01108.
