Obituary for Robert "Bob" Saloio
Robert “Bob” Saloio, 51, passed away on Wednesday, December 5th 2007 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston. The son of Manuel H. and Ida (Silva) Saloio, Bob was born and resided in Ludlow. A 1974 graduate of Ludlow High School, he was the proud owner of S & S Construction Co. Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter, lover of music and long time member of the Ludlow Country Club. Besides his parents he leaves his cherished children Michael and Andrea; his devoted girlfriend, Donna Salo and her sons Daniel and Matthew, his sister Susan LaMondia, her husband Thomas and their children; his brother Thomas, his wife Susan and their children. Bob’s family extends their sincere gratitude to the overwhelming support they have been given from family and friends through Bob’s illness. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:00AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. John the Baptist Church, with Monsignor Homer Gosselin presiding. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours are Sunday afternoon from 2-6PM.
