Obituary for Robert H. DeMotta
Robert H. DeMotta, 66, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Fall River, Ma., son of the late Nuno and Mary (Medeiros) DeMotta, he has lived for many years in Chicopee and worked for both Amherst College and the city of Chicopee. He also loved to frequent flea markets, often as a vendor, and enjoyed playing bingo. Robert leaves his son Robert H. DeMotta Jr.; a brother Daniel Motta, of Ludlow; 2 sisters Gloria Monzon, of CA and Carol DeMotta, of Springfield; a step-daughter Belinda; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Funeral services were held privately by the family.
