Obituary for Robert "Scotty" Faulds
Robert “Scotty” Faulds, 68, of Ludlow, passed away on July 11, 2010 in Scotland while visiting his family. Born in Scotland, son of the late Mary and Alexander Faulds, he, along with his wife Patricia and daughter Pamela, came to America in 1962 and has lived in Ludlow for the past 40 years. Robert was a licensed plumber and was most recently employed at Spath and Sons Plumbing. He was also a Mason and past Master of the Brigham Masonic Lodge in Indian Orchard and loved to travel. Robert was the beloved husband of 49 years to Patricia (Halleron) Faulds; the loving father of Pamela Desilets and her husband Steve, and Robbie Faulds and his fiancée Ann Fortier, all of Ludlow; a cherished grandfather to Casey and Keith Desilets and Corey and Derek Meyrick; a dear brother to Tom Faulds and Agnes McDonald, of Scotland, Marion Martin, of Springfield, and the late Ellen Lessles and Martha Johnson; was predeceased by Eff Moncrieff, who was like a mother to him in this country; and also leaves many other loving extended family members and dear friends. Visiting hours for Robert will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Ludlow Funeral Home from 9:00 - 10:45 concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
