Obituary for Rosa (Crespo) Garcia
Rosa (Crespo) Garcia, 86, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Saturday January 31st, 2009, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Padornelos, Concelho de Montalegre, Portugal she has lived in Ludlow for over 18 years and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish.  She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Garcia, who predeceased her in 1980.  Rosa leaves her loving daughter; Cacilda Juliano and her husband Antonio of Ludlow; grandchildren Antonio Luis Juliano and his wife Tina, Victor Juliano and Rosemary Mazza and her husband David all of Ludlow as well as her cherished great-granddaughter Catarina Rose Mazza; sisters Aurora Lopes of Padornelos, Montalegre, Portugal, Ilda Alves, Maria Oliveira both of Ludlow and Lucinda Alves of Springfield; brothers Antonio Crespo of Ludlow and Joaquim Crespo of Wilbraham.  She was also predeceased by her son Antonio Garcia in 1970.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 5th, 2009 at 8:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.  Visiting hours are Wednesday evening from 4:00-7:00pm.
