Obituary for Rosa (Miranda) Goncalves
Rosa (Miranda) Goncalves, 89, of Ludlow passed away on Thursday November 30, 2017. Born in Sabuzedo, Portugal she has lived in Ludlow for many years and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Rosa was the beloved wife of the late Bento Goncalves who predeceased her in 2007. She leaves her loving sons Domingos Goncalves and wife Elisabete and Joaquim Goncalves and wife Tammy all of Ludlow, her daughter in law Maria Goncalves of Ludlow; her cherished grandchildren David, Miranda, Alexandrea, Dominique, Elisha, Joy and Gina; 4 adored great grandchildren, her caring sister Antonia Martins of Ludlow as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sadly she was predeceased by her son Jose and her sister Maria Martins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 5th 2017 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Tuesday morning from 8:15-10:15am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
