Obituary for Rosalina (Coelho) Augusto
Rosalina (Coelho) Augusto, 85, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Thursday September 21, 2006. Born in Ludlow, she was a lifelong resident and a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Ludlow. Rosalina worked for many years at the former Cromwell Mills in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield. She leaves her beloved husband of 61 years Antonio Augusto of Ludlow, loving children; Mario Augusto and his wife Jacqueline of Ludlow, Maria Helin of Ludlow and Arminda Audette and her husband Paul of Fort White, FL., cherished grandchildren; Mark Augusto of Monson, Matthew Helin of East Greenwich, RI., Denise Albertini and Jennifer Roman both of FL., and her great grandson Andrew Augusto, caring sisters; Celeste Batista, Gloria Augusto and Julia Santos all of Ludlow. Funeral services for Rosalina will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 9:00a.m. from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Monday evening from 6-8p.m. Donations may be made in Rosalina’s memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the charity of ones choice.Â
