Obituary for Rosalina (Ferreira) Martins
Rosalina (Ferreira) Martins, 91, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2020. Born in Sapelos, Portugal, daughter of the late Salvador and Ana Ferreira, she immigrated to Ludlow where she was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She worked for many years at Milton Bradley, from where she retired, and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Rosalina was the beloved wife of the late Abel Martins, who predeceased her in 2004; a loving mother to Maria Gama and husband Jurel, Carlos Martins and wife Maria, Maria Flores and husband Antonio, and Anibal Martins and wife Domingas; a cherished grandmother to Jorge and Paulo Martins, Zelia Almeida, Fernando Flores, Lisa Rodrigues, and Ashley and Michael Martins; adoring great-grandmother to Luke and Alex Rodrigues, Abigail and Matthew Almeida, and Jackson and Charlotte Martins; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Due to ongoing restrictions, funeral services for Rosalina will be held privately by her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Fatima Church 438 Winsor St. Ludlow, Ma. 01056.
