Obituary for Rose (Pereira) Andre
Rose (Pereira) Andre, 87, of Wayland, MA., was called home to God on Friday, April 27, 2007. Rose was the daughter of the late Francisco and Joaquina (Dias) Pereira. She lived all of her life in Ludlow and was a librarian for the Hubbard Memorial Library in Ludlow for 13 years. Rose was a member of the Senior Center Council on Aging where she received the honor of Outstanding Community Service. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter “Mac”Andre, who passed away in 1980. She enjoyed spending time with her family and leaves to cherish her memory a son Anthony Andre of Oceanside, CA.; her daughters Marian Sullivan and her husband Mark of Sudbury, MA. and Jacqueline Tower and her husband Robert of South Windsor, CT; cherished grandchildren: Dawn Ramirez of CA, Andrea Tower of East Hartford, CT., Kimberly Andre of CA, Ryan Tower of San Francisco, and Kristen and Matthew Sullivan of Sudbury; great grandchildren Jaime Jr., Vinnie, Elizabeth and Kaylin; and caring sisters Florence Mathias of Ludlow, Anne Horvath of CT., and Gloria Creighton of PA. Rose was also predeceased by her brother John Pereira and her sister, Persis Pare. Funeral services for Rose will be held Tuesday morning May 1, 2007 at 9:00AM from Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10: 00AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
