Obituary for Rosinda Ribeiro
Rosinda Ribeiro, 101, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024 surrounded by love. Born in Turquel, Alcobaca, Portugal, she immigrated to the United States in 1966. Rosinda was a devoted and faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and also enjoyed attending St. Elizabeth Parish. Above all, Rosinda was dedicated to being a homemaker and loved spending time with her large family. Rosinda was the beloved wife of the late Silvestre Ribeiro, who predeceased her in 1998; a loving mother to Armando Ribeiro and wife Maria, Manuel Ribeiro and wife Elisete, Reinaldo Ribeiro and wife Maria, Antonio Ribeiro, all of Ludlow, Maria Jorge and husband Mario of Portugal, and the late Norberto and Tito Ribeiro; a devoted grandmother to Jennifer, Monica, Paul, Debby, Victoria, Jessica, Katie, Mario, Nuno, Cristina, and Nelson; and also leaves several great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson; and many loving extended family members. Visiting hours for Rosinda will be on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 9:00-10:15 at Ludlow Funeral Home followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Parish followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Donations may be made in Rosinda’s memory to Our Lady of Fatima Parish.
