Obituary for Sheila M. (Coffey) Kalish
Sheila M. (Coffey Kalish, 86, of Wilbraham, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2018. Born in Ireland, daughter of the late Timothy and Helen (Mahoney) Coffey,she immigrated to the United States in 1948 and worked for many years as a mental health worker for the State of Massachusetts. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo, watching baseball, especially her Boston Red Sox, and spending time with family and friends. Sheila was the beloved wife of the late Gus Kalish who predeceased her in 2011; a loving and devoted mother to Gerald Kalish, of CT; a dear sister to John Coffey, of Boston, and the late Mary, Eileen, and Margaret; and also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. All funeral services were held privately by the family and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sheila’s memory to the charity of one's choice.
