Obituary for Shirley M. (Bousquet) Birch
Shirley (Bousquet) Birch, 78, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2009. Born in Palmer, she lived in Mississippi for several years where she was a correctional officer and also owned and operated an Antique Shop and Flea Market. She then moved to Ludlow where she lived most of her life. Shirley was the loving mother to Arthur Birch and wife Louanne, of Ludlow, Robert J. Birch, of Mississippi, Rose M. Schram and husband David, of Indiana, Kathleen McHale and husband Martin, of Florida., and Debra LaFrance and husband Richard “Blu”, of Missouri; a dear sister to Kenneth Bousquet, of Chicopee, Jeanne Andre, Patricia Ptaszkiewicz, Susan Moffett, and Beverly Hughes, all of Ludlow; and the late Paul and Henry Bousquet; cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 25. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Aug. 17, 2009 from 5–7:45pm at Ludlow Funeral Home concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 8pm. Burial will be on Tuesday at 10am in Island Pond Cemetery.
