Obituary for Shirley R. Dobrzycki
Shirley R. (Mirabito) Dobrzycki, 78, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Webster, she lived in Ludlow for most of her life where she was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. She worked for many years at Buxton’s and F.W. Syckles before her retirement and also enjoyed knitting and ceramics. Shirley leaves her beloved husband 52 years Mitchell Dobrzycki; her sons; Michael Rodio, his wife of Ann and their children James and Jessica Rodio, of Wrentham, Ma; and Alex Rodio, his wife Dottie and their family of Webster, Ma.; a brother Paul Mirabito, of Florida; as well as many other loving family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2008 from the Ludlow Funeral Home at 9:15am with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visitation will precede the funeral on Friday morning from 8:15 – 9:15am.
