Born in Sobral da Lagoa, Portugal, she immigrated to the United States in 1968 and settled in Indian Orchard. Sra. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Wingate of Wilbraham for the exceptional care and compassion that they provided. Funeral services for Sra. Amelia are on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Visiting hours are from 8:30-10:15 in Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
