Obituary for Stanley Szczepanski
Stanley Szczepanski, 94, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2020. Born in Ludlow, son of the late Paul and Josephine (Lorek) Szczepanski, he was a lifelong resident and faithful communicant of Christ the King Church. Stanley was a United States Army veteran proudly serving his country as a Staff Sergeant during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 438 in Fairview. He worked for many years at the former Springfield Foundry and Atlas Foundry before his retirement. Stanley was the beloved husband of 62 years to Theresa F. (LeMay) Szczepanski; a loving father to Gail Hutchinson; a cherished grandfather to Roger Szczepanski and girlfriend Meaghan Morgado, and Katie Ann Hutchinson, and great grandfather ro Michael Anthony Szczepanski, all of Ludlow, a dear brother to the late Frank and Eugene Szczepanski, Helen Duquette, and Adella Kozaczka; and also leaves many loving extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16th. Friends and Family are asked to gather for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
